Nolito eyes return to Spain, hopes Manchester City will let him go

Manchester City striker Nolito says he is "crazy" about a return to Spain and hopes the Premier League club will allow him to leave.
The 30-year-old signed a four-year deal with Man City last July, but has struggled for game time under Pep Guardiola. He made only nine league starts in the 2016-17 season, and 10 appearances as a substitute.
Now with Portugal's Bernardo Silva signing from Monaco at the start of a summer recruitment drive, Nolito is already looking towards his homeland.
"I'm crazy about returning to Spain," Nolito told Cope. "City keep signing players, we'll see if they'll let me leave easily.
Nolito scored only six goals in 30 games in all competitions for Manchester City, a tally he admitted was disappointing. But he says he's keen to prove himself back in La Liga -- if the English big spenders let him go.
"I hope I can leave, whether it's on loan, a transfer or whatever. I have several teams I'd prefer to join," Nolito said.
"I know Atletico, Celta... but they're things for my agent."
Former Valencia junior Nolito has earned 16 Spain caps since 2014, scoring against Turkey at Euro 2016.
