Riccardo Montolivo has 'spoken' to Andrea Belotti about joining AC Milan

Riccardo Montolivo has told Andrea Belotti to join him at AC Milan, amid reports that the Rossoneri may up their bid for the Torino striker.
Belotti, who scored 26 goals in Serie A last season, has been linked with a move to Milan since a €100 million clause in his contract with the Granata is only valid for foreign clubs.
Milan are reported to have made an offer of €70 million for his services after apparently missing out on Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata, who has refused a return to Serie A, but Torino are hoping to keep hold of the Italy forward next season and are said to have already received rival bids from abroad, although none yet high enough to trigger that release clause.

Montolivo has spent the past few days training with Belotti while on international duty and he told Sky Sport Italia that the subject of Milan had come up in conversation.
"Yes, I have spoken to Belotti about Milan," Montolivo said. "We have exchanged a few words about it. We're building a very competitive squad."
Montolivo also hopes that Gianluigi Donnarumma will sign a new contract at the San Siro, adding that he had "told Gigio what I think and I hope that he will be Milan's goalkeeper for many seasons to come."
Milan are set to confirm the signing of Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg after he underwent a medical on Wednesday, while the arrivals of Mateo Musacchio and Franck Kessie have already been confirmed.
Vincenzo Montella's side will make a return to European football after a three-year absence next season, entering into the third qualifying round of the Europa League after finishing sixth in Serie A.
