Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has not asked Dortmund about move - Watzke
BERLIN -- Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has not approached the club over a potential move in the summer, CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has said.
Aubameyang, 27, has again been linked with a transfer and a source told ESPN FC that Paris Saint-Germain had made contact with him.
German tabloid Bild reported that the French champions had negotiated but not agreed terms for a three-year deal.
Kicker reported that Dortmund would only consider a bid in excess of €70 million, but said BVB had not officially been approached by PSG.
A source told ESPN FC that no PSG offer had been submitted.
Speaking to reporters at the DFB Pokal trophy handover in Berlin, Watzke said: "It's no use publishing a weekly bulletin.
"I know nothing concrete. I know everything from the media only, and I know from my long-term experience that not everything that's written there is true.
"Let's just wait and see. If Pierre-Emerick feels like he wants to leave, he will certainly approach us. But this has not happened yet."
At a news conference, Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel said his "understanding is that Edinson Cavani only recently put pen to paper at PSG and that a No. 9 might not be on top of the list." He said he was "relaxed" about the situation.
The Dortmund coach's future has also yet to be resolved, with his current deal expiring in 2018.
Watzke said: "Thomas's wish during the winter break was to talk in the summer [about a new deal] and we'll do that."
Earlier this week, kicker reported that 17-year-old defender Dan-Axel Zagadou is set to join on a free transfer from PSG.
Watzke said the France under-18 captain "is a good young player" and added: "Let's see what happens there. If he were to decide for BVB, he'd be a player with a view to the future, not one who would help us straight away."
