Marc Anthony to headline Real Madrid-Barcelona ICC half-time show

Two-time Grammy Award winner and seven-time Latin Grammy winner Marc Anthony will headline the half-time show when La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid meet in the International Champions Cup (ICC) in Miami this summer.
The match -- dubbed El Clasico Miami -- will take place on July 29 at Hard Rock Stadium and ICC co-founder and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has said he wants the game to resemble a Super Bowl week.
"What an honour!" the Puerto Rican salsa singer said after it was confirmed he would perform the half-time show.

"There's no precedent for this. Miami is going to be the epicentre of the planet that night. Yes, I've taken on very uncomfortable responsibilities in the past, but being the first, I just have to show up, I have to be ready. I believe that I have the experience to handle it."
Ross' aim of turning El Clasico into a week-long celebration means that leading up to the ICC fixture, fans will have a chance to participate in a variety of activities including concerts, team pep rallies, art and more.
These festivities will be hosted in and around Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Beach, Wynwood and Bayfront Park as part of an immersive experience that will provide chances for fans to experience the culture of the city.
Barca and Madrid have met outside Spain only once before in their history: a match in 1982 in Venezuela -- a 1-0 win for Real courtesy of a Vicente del Bosque goal.
As well as facing Madrid, Barca's American tour will also see them play Juventus and Manchester United in New York on July 22 and Washington on July 26, respectively.
Madrid, meanwhile, will take on Manchester United and Manchester City in Santa Clara on July 23 and Los Angeles on July 26 respectively.
The two sides are currently locked in a battle to decide who ends the current season as Spanish champions.
Barca currently lead the way but Madrid have a game in hand and if they win their final four matches will win their first league title since 2012.
